The pariah dog of India is an ancient autochthonous landrace that is found all over India, even Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and beyond South-Asia also.
It's Commonly known as the Desi Dogs or INDogs (Indian Dogs) they are very alert and social. It's also known as guard dogs and police dogs, being very territorial and defensive Dogs.
The Pariah Dogs are medium-sized, They are most commonly observed colors are browns, ranging from dark to reddish-brown, with or without white markings. Solid blacks are rare, but some dogs are pied.
Appearance: Pariah dogs display a wide range of physical appearances due to their diverse genetic backgrounds and the environments in which they have evolved. They typically have a medium-sized build, pointed ears that stand upright, a wedge-shaped head, and a bushy tail.
