The Bakharwal dog is found northern India. it is an a ancient working dog breed found in Ladakh.
Used: the Bakharwal dog is used for guarding sheep, protecting farms and homes in Himachal Pradesh as well in Jammu and Kashmir

Physical Characteristics:
Size: Bakharwal dogs are medium to large-sized dogs with a
strong and robust build.
Coat: They have a dense double coat that helps them withstand
the harsh weather conditions of the Himalayan region. Their coat can
be of various colors, including black, tan, and fawn.
Ears: The ears are typically medium-sized, set high on the
head, and may be carried erect or semi-erect.
Tail: The tail is of medium length and often carried in a
slight curve.
Their temperament can be very fierce; they are guard dogs after all. However, they can be very friendly with people they know, just do not ever look like you are being aggressive to a family/pack member.
Their breeding makes them more suited to warmer climates and they struggle in higher temperatures, which can limit their appropriateness as a pet. You can shave them but they do not like it. It’s like stripping them of their clothes all day.
